Hours of Operation

Tuesday–Saturday: 10 AM – 4 PM
Closed on Sunday & Monday

The NC Pottery Center is closed on major holidays. Announcements regarding holiday closures will be posted on the homepage.

Cost of Admission

The cost of admission covers entry into the museum, access to the Seagrove Potter example display, and all current exhibits.

(Applicable taxes are included.)

  • Adults - $2.50

  • Ages 11-18 – $1.00

  • Ages 10 & under – FREE

  • NCPC members – FREE

NOTICE: Beginning on August 1, 2025 there will be an increase to the cost of admission. The new rates are as follows:

  • Adult ($5.00)

  • Ages 11-18 ($2.50)

  • Ages 10 & under (FREE)

EXHIBITIONS NOTE: Designed to allow visitors an interactive experience through multiple touchscreen kiosks, our core exhibit's educational content is geared towards high-school age and adult audiences.

Gift Shop & Maps

  • The Center has a small Gift Shop that is free to access.

  • Free maps of the local area are located at the check-in/gift shop counter.

Restrooms

  • Our restrooms are accessible to visitors who pay the cost of admission.

  • Public restrooms can be found nearby at both the I-74 Northbound and Southbound Visitors Centers, located between exits 58 and 61.

  • Each of our restrooms has a wheelchair-accessible stall.

Parking

  • The Center has a free parking lot directly across the street from our building.

  • Visitors may park and leave their vehicles in our lot if they want to walk around the downtown Seagrove area. Cars will not be towed.

  • RV’s and Campers welcome. (Please inform staff before parking your vehicle overnight).

Limited Mobility Guests

  • The Center has two accessible parking spaces for limited mobility guests with vehicles displaying a disability placard.

  • The Center's main building and educational building are wheelchair and walker-friendly.

  • Each of our restrooms has a wheelchair-accessible stall.

  • The Center's picnic table area out back is currently not accessibility friendly. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Service Animals & Other Animals

  • Service animals specifically trained to aid individuals with disabilities are welcome inside the museum.

  • Pets are not permitted.

  • Emotional support animals are not service animals as defined by the ADA, therefore are not allowed inside the museum.

Smoking

  • No smoking of any kind (cigarettes, vapes, etc.) is allowed in/around the building.

Weapons

  • No weapons of any kind are permitted inside the museum, including concealed carry firearms.

Photo Policy

  • Photography is allowed.

  • Visitors are welcome to take photos and/or videos for personal use only.

  • Visitors may NOT take photos of our staff members or other individuals visiting the museum without their knowledge and/or consent.

  • Selfie sticks are not permitted inside the building
