Saturday, February 11         10am – 4pm	CVCC Potters’ Workshop, 5845 Walnut Grove Lane, Hickory, NC.	An open house will be held at the CVCC Potters’ Workshop, located at 5845 Walnut Grove Lane, Hickory. The public is invited to view this unique facility, meet Workshop director Kim Ellington, and talk to staff and students. Student work will be on display, and light refreshments will be served. Saturday, February 18         9am – 4:30pm	Workshop: Making Larger Pots: Capping and Joining Techniques	A one day workshop will be given by Catawba Valley potter Kim Ellington at the CVCC Potters’ Workshop, located at 5845 Walnut Grove Lane, Hickory. The workshop is designed for all areas of expertise and will focus on the capping and joining techniques that a potter uses to create large, decorative and functional pieces.
